This issue, not only celebrating the 19th birthday of Amazon S3 with a pie on Pi Day, but also a series of announcements from S3 Tables, which showcases that it’s growing to be one of the biggest data platforms AWS offers - from Iceberg catalog APIs, table creation and query support from console (yes, I said console like it’s still 2015 but better than EMR approach that it was initially launched) to integrations supported with Kinesis Firehose and SageMaker Lakehouse.
